Appeal following Sheffield collision

South Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between two cars last week on Broadfield Road, Sheffield.

At around 9pm on Thursday 29 August, it is reported that a silver BMW was travelling along Broadfield Road towards Queens Road when it is believed to have lost control and collided with an oncoming Kia Sportage. This happened near to the junction with Markham Terrace.

Both drivers suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police would now like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, especially anyone with dash cam footage. We would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the manner of the driving of either vehicle prior to the incident.
