Celebrate the spirit of Christmas with three special Crystal Peaks events

THE sound of Christmas is coming to Crystal Peaks with three special events to celebrate the Festive Season.

On December 9, the Beighton Lifestyle Choir will be singing at the award winning shopping centre, with donations going to the Sheffield Churches Council for Community Care.

December 13 sees the annual performance by the Westfield Family of Schools.

Pupils from the community’s schools will be outside the shopping centre’s East Mall from 6pm as they present a special concert of Christmas songs for evening shoppers.

And on December 16 at 4.30pm the Crystal Peaks Food Court will once again be the setting for the centre’s annual Carol service, led by the Rev Stephen Horton of Crystal Peaks Church.

“The Crystal Peaks Church is very much a part of the centre’s life,” Lee explained.

“A few years ago we thought that it would be good to organise a carol service so that we could have a little of the original Christmas meaning on display.

“The feedback we receive is always excellent, with many people making a special trip to the Centre to sing carols and it’s now become an important part of Christmas life at Crystal Peaks and one that many of our visitors really look forward to.

“Along with our other two events we believe we have three great reasons to celebrate the true spirit of Christmas with all our visitors.”
