Did you witness street robbery?

Police are appealing for information following a reported robbery in the Burngreave area yesterday.

Between 5.45am and 6.15am yesterday morning, it is reported that a 27-year-old man was robbed in Burngreave Road, Sheffield.

It is understood that the man had just withdrawn some money from the cashpoint on Ellesmere Road, before walking to the bus stop on Burngreave Road.

It is reported that an unknown man, described as being Asian, around 30-years-old, of medium build and wearing a black jacket with his hood up, approached the 27-year-old and threatened him.

It is believed that the suspect showed the 27-year-old a knife, before leaving and walking up Brunswick Road.

The victim was not injured during the incident but has been left shaken.
