Efit released in connection to Sheffield armed robberies

South Yorkshire Police officer investigating two armed robberies in Sheffield are asking for your help to identify the man in this e-fit image.

Just before 4.30pm on Friday 3 January, a man is said to have entered a pawnbrokers on Angel Street in the city centre and threatened staff with a black handgun, making demands for cash.

The offender left empty handed, running down Angel Street and turning left on to Bank Street.

South Yorkshire Police then believe that the same man entered a hairdressers on Fulwood Road, Sheffield, at about 4.45pm, carrying a gun and making demands for cash.

He left the area, heading towards Fulwood, with a small amount of cash.


No one was injured in either of the incidents but those in the shops were understandably left incredibly shaken by what happened.

As enquiries continue to find the man involved, officers have released this e-fit image. Do you recognise the man?
