Further timetable changes on South Yorkshire’s public transport network following government’s Covid-19 lockdown advice

PASSENGERS needing to make essential journeys on public transport are urged to check before they travel at https://www.travelsouthyorkshire.com/as additional timetable changes will come into effect from this weekend (28/29 March).

Bus services will run to reduced timetables, with some additional journeys operating in the early mornings, to balance demand from key workers who still need to travel to work and Government advice to most people to stay at home to avoid spreading the virus. Tram, tram train and rail services are also operating to reduced timetables across the region.

These changes have been designed to keep South Yorkshire’s public transport network running for essential journeys during the Covid-19 crisis, ensuring that critical routes used by key workers are maintained wherever possible.

Details of revised bus timetables, and the latest updates on tram and rail services, will be available at travelsouthyorkshire.com/servicechanges from 18:00 on Friday 27 March.

Our Traveline team is available on 01709 515151 between 8am and 6pm seven days a week to answer customer queries.  Travel South Yorkshire social media channels will also be updated with the latest information.
