Gleadless care home celebrates with summer fair

WHO needs to worry about the weather when you have a good umbrella?

Staff and residents at Paddock Hill Residential care home in Gleadless – one of the ten homes operated across the city by not for profit organisation Sheffcare – didn’t let the rain stand in the way of a good day as they welcomed guests to their annual summer fair.

And staff members Darren Richards and Louise Fletcher provided their own burst of summer sunshine with their 1960s themed psychedelic outfits.

The event, with its range of stalls and summer attractions, raised a total of £800 which will go towards events and entertainment for residents.
