Schools leavers and adult learners will find out how The Sheffield College can help them go further in employment and their careers at an open day this week.
The College offers academic, vocational and professional qualifications including access courses, apprenticeships, diplomas, A Levels and degrees.
Visitors can find out more at an open day on Thursday, October 25th from 4pm to 7pm taking place at City, Hillsborough, Peaks and Olive Grove campuses.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet teaching staff, speak to job experts, tour the facilities and find out about courses, enrichment activities and additional support. Family and friends are welcome. All campuses have good public transport links.

Isobel Walker and Georgia Leather achieved top grades in biology, chemistry and geography this summer after completing their A Levels at the College’s Hillsborough campus on Livesey Street.
Isobel chose to study a chemistry degree at the University of Sheffield. Her career ambition is to become an analytical chemist. She said: “It’s been very rewarding studying at the College. I really love chemistry because it’s fundamental to life.”
Georgia decided to go onto an advanced engineering apprenticeship at the AMRC Training Centre in Rotherham. Her career ambition is to become a metallurgist.
She said: “Coming to the College has made me feel more confident and it’s helped me to become an independent learner. I love engineering because it’s analytical and creative and involves problem solving, which I find really rewarding.”
