INVESTEC Wealth and Investment Sheffield is aiming for the back of the net as it scores for the 2019 Master Cutler’s Challenge.
The company’s Sheffield office is inviting other companies to join in a football tournament in support of the Challenge, which this year is supporting both St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield and Rotherham Hospice.
The sporting fixture will be held at the Goodwin Sports Centre in Sheffield on Thursday June 13 and will be followed by food and networking at the nearby Dam House restaurant.
“This is the perfect blend of sport and socialising and it’s all for a great cause” said St Luke’s Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder.
“Investec have come up with a great way of making a contribution to the challenge so do get into your kit and out onto the pitch to make this a memorable fundraiser.”
More than 500 teams have taken part in the Master Cutler’s Challenge since its launch in 2008, raising well over £1.5 million for a range of charities.
“We are looking forward to working closely with St Luke’s and Rotherham Hospice to make this a great event and I am sure a memorable one for all concerned,” said Nicholas Partington, Investec Business Development Director.
