Investigation launched following collision and altercation, Sheffield

An investigation is underway following an incident in Sheffield yesterday evening in which two men suffered stab wounds.

Emergency services were called to Norwood Road, at around 5.55pm, following reports that two cars, a black VW Golf and a black Volvo, had been involved in a collision.

The occupants of the cars are then said to have been involved in an altercation before leaving the area prior to police arrival.

Two men, both aged 18, were later found to have suffered stab wounds in the incident. They received treatment for their injuries at hospital, where they currently remain.

Detectives investigating believe those involved are known to each other but remain keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened.
