Lamora are not exactly the most well known make up brand, but when you are on a budget, you go looking for something to just do the job, rather than the name. After much searching and review reading online as possible, I came across this seven piece set on Amazon.
Delivery was super quick and I purchased all seven brushes for £10.95. In the set you will find a small shader, classic shader, precise shader, angled shader, angled detailer, blending brush and a detailed pencil brush. When you compare this set to other brands such as MAC, you are probably getting seven brushes for the price of one.
I couldn’t wait to try out this kit so was straight on it, creating the most dramatic looks ready for a night out (on a Monday afternoon!) The brushes are a really great find, they pick up shadow efficiently with little fall out (make up falling off the brush) The blend ability on these is just brilliant with the blending brush potentially being one of the best I have used.
The only downside to these brushes, for me, is that the shading brushes are quite long which does make it a little tough when you are trying to be precise and pack shadow on. The brushes did arrive in a lovely case which I will be keeping them in to enhance the longevity. A nice little bonus which wasn’t a selling point on Amazon, but should be.
The brushes are all synthetic, cruelty free and vegan friendly which will be a real bonus to some. They claim to be non-shedding and easy to clean, only time will tell!
If you are looking for something cheap in place of your standard, pocket clearing make up brushes, then this is the right set for you. Would I buy again, not 100% sure as I would prefer a set that is a little shorter on the shaded brushes length.
