LODGE Moor Townswomen’s Guild in Sheffield has chosen leading South Yorkshire dementia charity Lost Chord as its charity of the year for 2020.
Lost Chord is the organisation that provides vital interactive musical sessions for people living dementia in care homes and day centres across the region and nationally.
And the Lodge Moor TWG members are hoping that a 12 month programme of coffee mornings, choral performances, bridge sessions and other activities will give a major boost to the charity in the Sheffield area.
“We are always delighted when organisations like this take the trouble to think about the work of Lost Chord,” said the charity’s Chief Executive, Helena Muller.
“Their enthusiasm will go a long way towards helping us sustain our programme of wonderful musical events, all of which touch the lives of so many people living with dementia.”
