Motorbike rider critically injured following Sheffield collision

A motorbike rider is in a life-threatening condition following a collision in Sheffield yesterday afternoon (Friday 17 August).

At around 1.15pm, it is reported that a black KTM Superduke motorbike was travelling along Parkwood Road towards Neepsend Lane when it has collided with a DAF grab wagon parked at the side of the road.

The rider of the bike, a 43-year-old man from Barnsley, was taken to hospital where his condition is described as life-threatening.

Officers want to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or who saw the bike and the manner of riding prior to the collision.
