A funeral home in Sheffield is encouraging families and friends of lost loved ones to pay tribute to them this festive season with a Christmas remembrance tree.
Co-op Funeralcare on Abbey Lane in Sheffield is asking people to send or bring in memorial tags in honour of relatives and friends, which will then be hung on the tree as a way of keeping their memory alive at that time of year.
Tracey Wilson, Funeral Arranger at Co-op’s John Fairest Funeralcare on Abbey Lane, comments: “We understand that Christmas can be a difficult time and can leave many people feeling isolated if they’re missing a loved one or someone special.
“We hope that our remembrance tree will give people the opportunity to remember friends and family in a meaningful way by dedicating a memorial tag in their honour.”
Co-op’s John Fairest Funeralcare remembrance tree will be going up in the funeral home on Abbey Lane on 1st December 2019.
To submit a remembrance tag, or if you have any questions, please visit the funeral home at 152 Abbey Lane, Sheffield, S8 0BQ or contact the home directly on 0114 274 5244 or alternatively on firstname.lastname@example.org.
