One man’s mission to educate and empower the region’s small business community with cutting edge marketing advice is going head-to-head with two of South Yorkshire’s best known organisations later this week.
Rob Taylor’s 0114 Marketing organisation now has a thriving 500-plus community that swap advice and meet on a monthly basis to share ideas.
His success impressed Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber judges so much they nominated him for the coveted marketing campaign of the year award.
0114 Marketing – which S8-based Rob Taylor launched just 18 months ago – is now going head to head in the category with Magna in Rotherham and Hallam FM’s Cash For Kids charity.
Rob Taylor said: “It’s a great honour to be nominated for such an award so early in the life of the business. 0114 Marketing is on a mission to educate, empower and enable the small business community of the South Yorkshire region to ultimately become their own expert and own marketing function.
“We fuse live events, online training and social platforms to make high quality marketing available to every business – regardless of budget.”
Rob Taylor formerly worked in a marketing capacity for some of the region’s best known live music venues. They have included the Leadmill, Plug and 02 Academy.
The Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber Business Awards 2018 are set to take place this Friday (October 19th).
