The RSPCA centre in Sheffield is hosting a Christmas Craft and Hobbies market on the 8th December 2019, in order to raise vital funds for the hundreds of vulnerable animals in its care over the busy Christmas period.
The event will see craft stalls ranging from Christmas decorations, presents, fragrances, clothing plus much more
All stalls have donated to the centre, which rehabilitates and rehomes unwanted, neglected and abandoned cats and dogs from across the steel City.
Diana Radford, Operations Director at the Sheffield branch says: “We are delighted to be hosting our Christmas craft and hobbies market.”
“We’re lucky enough to be working alongside some amazing local businesses. To have the support this time of year is invaluable to us. It allows us to raise awareness about the hardships we undergo during the Christmas and winter period whilst also celebrating the support we receive from the city.
“As an independent charity, we’re reliant on donations from the public and local businesses in order to stay open and continue to provide love and care for our animals. Events such as these are so important to us and we hope that families will come down, have a great day and help us to raise money so we can continue our work.”
RSPCA Sheffield have also teamed with The Giving Machine, a charity which makes it possible for consumers to support local charities for free whilst shopping in their favourite stores, in a bid to increase donations at the centre over the busy festive period.
