TAKE to the greens, tee off and support dementia charity Lost Chord at their annual Golf Day.
Lost Chord is the organisation that provides vital interactive musical experiences for people living with dementia in care homes and day centres across the region and nationally.
And on Thursday May 14 there will be chance for sports fans to join the fundraising fun as the charity hosts its Lost Chord Golf Day at Rotherham Golf Club.
Entry is just £260 per team of four – or £65 per person – with a choice of tee off time, a hot bacon roll and coffee to start and a two course presentation dinner at the end of the day.
The day also includes a putting competition, prizes for nearest to the pin and longest drive and a raffle.
“Our golf day is always extremely successful and a popular part of our annual calendar of fundraising events,” said Lost Chord Chief Executive Helena Muller.
“We are hoping to have at least 20 teams competing and helping us to carry on funding our vital programme of musical events.
“The money raised will go directly towards continuing and growing our programme of events in care homes and days centres across South Yorkshire and also nationally.
“Now is the time to sign up a team or you can also join in as an individual player and we’ll make sure you have a team to play with.
“And if you really can’t get along, you can also get involved by donating a prize for our raffle or sponsor by advertising in the brochure or on the green.
“Remember, people with dementia need you to help fund their musical sessions and give them that human contact which is vital in their lives!”
