CITY homeless charity Emmaus sheffield is spreading the word about its services to Crystal Peaks.
Emmaus Sheffield is the drug and alcohol free project that provides a home, support and work for previously homeless people at its base close to the Canal Basin.
It is well known across the city for its charity shop that sells good quality furniture, bric-a-brac, clothing and electrical items, with the money raised going directly into providing the support needed by some of the most vulnerable members of society.
On June 3, the Emmaus team will be back at Crystal Peaks community desk, sharing information about the charity with shoppers.
“We have been made very welcome by the Crystal Peaks team and visitors so we are delighted to be returning,” said Emmaus Community Manager Charley Fedorenko.
“This visit will give people plenty of opportunities to chat and find out exactly how we work with and provide support for people who are trying to turn their lives around after being homeless.
“We would like to thank Crystal Peaks for this great opportunity to spread the word about Emmaus Sheffield and its services.”
