Three men have been arrested by detectives investigating a reported shooting in the Southey area of Sheffield earlier this week.
The men, all aged in their early 20s, were arrested by officers yesterday (Friday 1 March) on suspicion of attempted murder.
Two men have been released on bail pending further enquiries, one remains in police custody.
Police were called just after 11pm on Tuesday 26 February following reports a man had been shot.
A 55-year-old man was taken to hospital with a suspected shotgun wound to his shoulder.
Officers believe this to be a targeted incident and enquiries are ongoing to understand the circumstances.
