Stagecoach Supertram are facing industrial action over the Tramlines weekend, there will be a limited tram service running between 7am and 7pm on Fri, Sat and Sunday of the festival. These trams (on the Blue Route) will serve Sheffield station and the city centre stops but will NOT come all the way to the main site, attendees will have to get off at Hillsborough tram stop which is a short walk from the festival site.

In addition to this limited service there will be a bus replacement service operating on the Yellow route. People arriving at the site via this method should get off at any bus stop close to  Hillsborough Park. Tramlines has also partnered with Stagecoach bus to secure an additional fleet of buses to help people leave the site at the end of each day. These buses will take people leaving the site from Parkside Road back into the city centre from 8pm on Friday and Saturday and 6pm on Sunday. Drop-off will be on Snig Hill in the city centre. This bus will cost £3 per person, cash only and with no concessions operating. Existing bus and tram tickets will not be valid on these special event services. To avoid congestion on these buses, the site opening times will be slightly extended, people can stay in the park up to 10.30pm each day.

Tramlines is recommending that people refrain from driving to the site as there is no functioning drop off space and no parking for the festival. The festival site is a 40 min walk from the city centre. Cyclists are warned that there is no onsite cycle parking.

There will be a black cab pick-up spot operating from the Hillsborough Leisure Centre Car Park from 8.30pm on each day of the event. This location will be sign-posted from the main site. For private hire taxis, Tramlines recommends City Taxis who have an app for both Android and Apple phone users, this app can be found via the City Taxis website.
