Were you with Pamela at Ice Sheffield?

Officers investigating the disappearance of 16-year-old Pamela Horvathova from Sheffield have issued an appeal specifically to anyone who attended an event at Ice Sheffield on Wednesday 19 December.

It is understood that Pamela attended an event at Ice Sheffield on Wednesday morning with her peers from Sheffield College.

Superintendent Paul McCurry said: “We believe that Pamela was at an event at Ice Sheffield with her classmates one month ago on 19 December. We currently have officers trawling CCTV footage from the venue in the hope that it has captured Pamela and we can share this with you.

“We know there were many young people at the event last month and my appeal today is to you. Did you see Pamela there? Did you talk to her, or see what time she arrived and left? Was she with anyone?

“Did you take any photos or videos while you were at the event, which may show Pamela? If you think you did, please submit this material to police so we can review it as part of our ongoing investigation.”

You can send photographs to enquiries@southyorks.pnn.police.uk quoting ‘Pamela Horvathova’ in the subject line.

Supt McCurry added: “You may see an increased police presence in the area around Ice Sheffield over the weekend, as we search for any clues about where Pamela may have gone after leaving this event last month.”

If you have any information that could help police, please call 101 quoting incident number 941 of 24 December 2018.

If you see Pamela, call 999 immediately.
