Westbourne children enjoy Yorkshire’s most spectacular views

YEAR 7 pupils at Sheffield’s Westbourne School got closer to nature as they explored the rugged chalk cliffs of Yorkshire’s famous Flamborough Head.

As part of their coastal landforms geography topic, the children explored the effects of coastal erosion, longshore drift and coastal management along the Holderness Coast.

The children from the Broomhill co-educational independent school also had the chance to to practice their field sketching skills at celebrated coastal landmark High Stack.

And like all other visitors to Yorkshire’s spectacular east coast, they also found time for a traditional seaside lunch of fish and chips!
