Westbourne pupils hit the slopes with Italian ski trip

PUPILS from Sheffield’s Westbourne School hit the heights with their annual skiing ski trip.

The children of all ages and abilities from the Broomhill independent school visited the Bormio in Lombardy, one of Italy’s most popular ski resorts and host of the World Cup Championships.

When they weren’t out on the slopes, the pupils were able to visit the centre of the historic town, while more experienced skiers also explored the pistes of neighbouring Santa Caterina.

And for anybody who couldn’t get enough of the snowy conditions, the trip also included a visit to the local ice rink!
