Witness appeal following hate crime incident in Sheffield city centre

South Yorkshire Police are asking witnesses of an alleged hate crime to come forward and help police bring the offender to justice.

At around 10am on Tuesday 9 July, it is reported that a woman was waiting at a bus stop on High Street, Sheffield, when she is believed to have been assaulted and racially abused. Police are treating the incident as a hate crime.

The offender is believed to be a white female, approximately 5ft 3inches tall with blonde hair wearing a builders hat, high vis vest and camouflage trousers.
