Witnesses sought for robbery of Sheffield man

Detectives in Sheffield are asking for your help to identify and trace a man they believe to have information about a robbery in the city centre.

It is believed that on Sunday 22 September at 4:10am a 22 year-old man was the victim of a robbery on Rockingham Street, Sheffield.

It is reported that the man left the SOYO bar in the early hours and woke in hospital with a head injury unable to remember what had happened.

Following enquiries, it is believed that the man was victim of two crimes.

It is thought that the man had his bank card stolen from him at a cash machine by a woman. The woman has now been identified and investigations are continuing.

It is then believed that the man has fallen and knocked his head. While unconscious on the floor, it is alleged that an unknown man has then taken property from the victim.

The property contained a bank card which was then used at several locations across Sheffield.

Officers are asking for your help to identify the man in the CCTV image as they believe he holds vital information that can help with their investigation.
